Has Powerflow cooked my ecu??!!

Yes all wiring checked and both sensors changed by myself and then plugged on so no twists. Standard ecu ironed out most of the probs so its just been sent for a flash and hopefully that'll be that :-)

Hi Kevin. It was the Leicester branch. I've been there many times before and had work done with no real problems. Had the car up on a ramp today to have a proper look underneath and the cat is well out of line and catching the body so I'll probably end up going back anyways. If I get stuck, I'll be in touch thanks.

my Vectra B had a similar problem, rev's would flare when changing gears by around 1000rpm, no fault codes.
took it to courtenays and they couldn't pin point the fault but fitting a replacement tb improved it.
the fault has moved to the corsa now and since supercharging has got worse but this may be due to mapping as its looking for an auto trans controller so theres a canbus error code. going to try vx220 software at next stage of mapping with improved bottom end/injectors.
if I let off throttle for 2/3 seconds before de clutching its fine as is high speed (over 5,500rpm) gear shifts. doesn't do it on down shifting at all.
brand new ecu fitted with charger along with many other new sensors and pedal stepper motor.
be interesting to see what cures the fault?

Righty......new ecu has cured most probs with exception to the flaring revs. With OPCOM in it says the clutch switch is active when not in use and inactive when depressed. This seems to be the opposite of what the Haynes wiring diagram is showing. I have 4 spare switches here and all meter the same. Can anyone with OPCOM tell me if theirs shows the same?

Iv got everything, iv used it 1s to read a code but thats it.

So when you've gone through auto vehicle recognition, yiu can read the codes. You should also see a button marked measuring blocks and that is where the info is.

If you can could you give me full instructions on how to do it n I could try it on my vectra outside or the corsa if that would be the same aswell.

If you know how to plug in and get to the codes, then youre half way there. If you go into ' diagnostics ' you can then press ' measuring blocks ' and this will give you the ouputs from the various sensors & switches. Dont know if the Corsa would the same, but think the Vec would be if it has cruise control. Obviously you wont get any engine data, but should get other stuff.

I can try it on my vectra first, I need to get to grips with it anyway for tonights fun, im hopeing to divorce the ecu from the donor car. Ready for the turbo conversion in mine.

I think I will need to run an extention cable out to the car cos my laptop battery is shit.

I will have a look this evening, im just trying to find out how to divorce the ecu from the donor car but im not having much luck. Any Info?
