nice 1, i keep trying to save a few quid for the clutch etc but every time i get any where with it, something comes up. should be orate in the next few months.

Nothing happening much with the clutch.

Had a good few teips in it now n cant wait for a good clutch.

Getting a set of green injectors soon for a few more hp but i need to drop the oil (hoping tomorrow)

strut tops n something on the steering needs doing.

Still searching for a lightened flywheel 🙁

just thought id update cos its been abit quiet lol.

been offered a z20let lightened flywheel, now i know i will have to adjust 1 hole but will i be ok with c20let clutch, f23 astra box?

i know it wont fit but it will with a small adjustment.

now is it in good condition?
Will a c20let clutch fit n can i use a f23 out of a astra which would have had a solid flywheel.

The clutch has clearly been slipping or had some hard starts (drag) but will be fine, hadn't seen the back but the heat colours can't be seen from the rear so hasn't got too hot. What's the grinder marks on the back for though?

C20LET clutch will fit and work fine, Vauxhall parts bins are good like that.

the grinder marks are from cs so you cant see the brand
its not a ttv one as it has a separate starter ring

If u don't mind me asking Dave but what's these 2nd hand parts costing u? I know it'll take longer than you want but I would go for the right stuff New. I know u on a budget but what if these 2nd hand items don't last long?? Your call buddy and plz don't think I'm being snobby or a dick, just don't want to see u get burnt if it goes wrong. Why will it need skimming?

skimming will make it like new so best of both worlds, used price, new finish.

Right guys, new turbo, new injectors, new flywheel all ordered n paid for(ish)

Now clutch c20let from autvaux(gonna call them tomorrow)

Now we are thinking to pull the engine n box out n do it on the floor.

so while its out, do i do the balance shaft delete?

Mario (the other 2.2turbo) had issues n thinks its due to oil pressure rising from removal of said shafts
now i dont want to do any damage...

now the next question how fast would the clutch come if i order tomorrow?

Im hoping to get it started thursday night n finished friday night. n should be remapped n running around 240/250 (to keep it safe)

I'd remove them whiles its out.

Depends if they have it in stock and I'm sure you can pay extra for next day delivery

I hope they have it in stock but its the flywheel thats causing the greaf now @[deleted]

it should be with you for wednesday(hes booked it all in for collection tomorrow) but its not next day its just tracked

then it needs the work(which im not gonna rush you on so dont worry about that) then get it to me so id say its gonna be next week anyway. Cant rush perfection ay😉

All depends if I need to make a jig to hold it in as I think the centre hole will be too small for the chuck, I also need to mark down how much is removed so I can remove the same off the lugs.
