Female is 1/8NPT => 1/8NPT to 4AN nipple => 4AN braided hose => 4AN to M11x1.5 nipple with 1.5mm oil restrictor => Turbo oil feed.

Just been up to the car to remove a pipe for someone on ebay.

n thought I will get the sump off but that front left bolt behind the aircon pump is a bastard, only 1 left holding it on.

n it had 6litres of oil in it hahaha.

I need to jack the engine up to get in with a deap socket. Iv got all the other bolts out I believe.

1/4" ratchet with a u/j and a long socket

Hahaha, shes been asking for ages, iv been teaching her for 16months(shes a great driver but no confidence)
N she has just gone for her first lesson with a real instructor last saturday n second tomorrow, so im hopeing I wont be teaching her for much longer.

n she wont be driving my car for a few years yet, she can keep the corsa. On her first lesson her instructor said that I should be an instructor because of how good a driver marie is. Which was nice.

So im taking the sump off(thanks @[deleted])

Got all the bolts out n a scalpel to cut through the sealant. N got it to this stage.

but it doesnt want to come out. Do i need to lift the engine ?

just jacked the engine up at the back about 5mm.
the sump horrible inside

can I unbolt that big plate or what?

gotta give that a propper clean out we some petrol or something.

its like grinding paste in the bottom.

They look like tiny bits of metal Dave.

There chunks of metal aswell as small pieces but the oil in the bottom is like grinding paste.

these are pieces i fished out the sump.

Just made it to bristol street before the parts dept shut at 12.30

Inlet manifold gasket
exhaust manifold gasket
nuts for the exhaust manifold
gasket between turbo n cat n the nuts for the turbo to the cat. £21.43

So not much more now.

clean the sump out properly
. Get some sump sealant
2 pipes n fittings for the turbo
Remove inlet manifold, throttle body and wiring loom
find £300 for remap.

I think thats about it.

Any advice on cleaning the sump out?
Can I take that plate out without any issues? N justuse petrol to clean it?

i have a turbo gasket here 🙂
yes just unbolt the plate then unbolt the pick up tube then tap it out wash all parts well and make sure theres no liquid sand paper left in there
