Dave_Gilbert And the exhaust is at the back on a vx220 so you can get to it alot easier than me hahah.

TFD And don't get the M12x1.75 tap. That one comes often in a set but 99% of the adapters are NOT M12x1.75. Rare as a hen's teeth and cost you... I bought the M12x1.75 to 1/8NPT adapter for my oil feedline for one of the plugs... (they are m12x1.75 remember..). Paid like 15 quid for it from the States.. Expensive bolt mate.
Dave_Gilbert I have the original oil feed pipe and banjo bolt so should be fine for the feed. I will make sure I get the right tap for a m12x 1.5 Im ordering it direct from the manufacturer so I should be ok.

TFD Just something different: Is portmatching a good idea with the ecotec when going turbo? Can't figger it out and can't find the answer on the web. Seems a smaller gap would help exhaust speed, but a larger one would improve flow volume?
TFD N/A and S/C yes... Turbo...? Hence the question. I think yes since volume is more important then speed for spoolup. You can have tremendous speed throug a straw but it will lack volume to actually move the large turbine. No flow through a drainpipe is also not realy OK.
KevinH Hi Dave, I've just been reading this: https://www.motionlabtuning.com/attachments/article/86/saab_ecotec_performance_guide.pdf Page 7 might be of interest to you.
TFD That's THE ecotec guideline. Read Corky Bell's Maximum Boost book first, then this ECOTEC book as backup and then you pick up your tools lol. 🙂
