Quick update on the coupe as not posted on here for a bit.......

So been really busy at work lately and in the process been earning some extra dollars that I've used to buy new set of the shark eye headlights, few engine dress up bits that I will be soon sending off to @[deleted] to work his magic on.

The rear splitter still not on the car yet as not had time to make it clear the exhaust but that will be done very soon as I want that on the coupe before I pop down and have a brewski @[deleted] new pad .

Also must be old age but I can't be doing with the loudness of my exhaust anymore and decided to give cobra sport a call on Monday to purchase a centre siliencer to help quiet it down a bit.

So once I've get some rest from work the progress will continue on the coupe☺

Aye been too busy at work so not had much spare time, seen on another post u having turbo issues? What happened?

I think with the clutch slipping iv pushed it abit n then slip n over boosted n killed the seals.

Its ok for now but will need a new turbo(bigger) in the future

@[deleted] are you coming to Sheffield to have the silencer fitted? I told you the cobra systems are loud, the ones I have from them made my ears bleed on the motorway. Also let me know when you fit the new headlights @[deleted] shame about the turbo pal.

I prob just get it posted up to me and get local garage to fit. I'll pm u once I've swapped them over bud.

Starting to get the hang of my DAS6 PRO+ now and the paint work is so smooth to the touch🙂. I had to take the this pic walking back to the car as the shiny from a distance was great lol.

Once the the cupra r and the steimetz rear splitters are fitted the coupe should look even better and then onto to sorting out the exhaust as its fucked at the cat and now doing my tits in, was hoping to have some help of a mate but no response so going have to bite the bullet and take it to a garage and more expense 🙁.

Looking good mate. The splitters will really finish the looks off I reckon. I can help with your exhaust if need be

Yeah that would be great bud. I was thinking of getting some of these v band clamps that Carl used on making his exhaust. What u reckon?

Car is looking really good, Das 6 is a great tool once you have confidence. Did you ever swap your headlights?

No bud not swapped my headlights over yet going down to smithy's soon will be doing it then.

Car just passed the emissions test on the last MOT and its badly blown at the joint were it connects to my cobra exhaust. Carl had hell of job trying to fix the cat when he fitted my cobra exhaust as some nugget head had welded a mini metro centre pipe and crushed the end of the cat onto it.

Rear splitter in body shop get it back Friday then hopefully straight onto the car 🙂

Cheers for the update, you buying a new 200 CPI one then or sticking with standard?

Yeah going to be going with a 200 cell and 2.5 coupe turbo milltek system, been speaking to the garage about it and they can do the sport cat and 2.5'' install no issues by using v clamps and making it all fit nice. Just need to figure out what to do about the manifold but one step at a time

As I type this I'm waiting for a recovery truck as my belt on the charger has snapped🙁

Best way to get to the tensioner to put the belt on?

its still the same way as normal just you have to put the belt round the extra pulleys
