had a bit of a play in the cave
the uprated guide/repairer bolt was a bit short in the hole (pic from before)
so i went about fixing this
here is a standard bolt all the way home in the guide
i mounted the bolt in the drill press and used the cut off tool to remove the excess lip and take the shafer away
the result a better fit 🙂 and the bolt will now lock on the head casting without putting to much pressure on the plastic

its a little fiddly to get the bolt to start in the guide so i may take the edge off a little so its easier going in
the head also now sits flush with the block
now working on the mods for the water pump del and block the 2 open oil ways
