have just been a picked up my shopping from the usa 🙂
and some bolts from the local vx dealer

cometic head gasket
4 genuine gm LSJ valves
genuine GM main bearings STD size
arp head studs
clutch alignment tool
magnetic sump plug
lower girdle bolts x20

i borrowed 4 to fix amys car the other week 🙂
the saab valves are different to the z22se ones both inlet and ex but only in shape on the inlet the saab ex valves are sodium filled for better heat support

new shells in top and bottom

lubed up and sealant applied as per the instructions 2-5mm bead in the groove
crank looks rusty again now its been washed off with 3 cans of carb cleaner lol

lower girdle installed with new bolts ready for tightening sequence 20nm + 70* + 15* 20 times in 10mins :confused:

kept track of each bolt done with a paint pen

excess sealant all squidged out

head studs fitted

gasket on for now till the pistons get here

also found an issue with the b207r balance sprocket i now know what the extra washer is for in the chain kit 🙂 the difference is on the crank

clutch tool fitted a treat which was a bonus best $4 spent at a guess 🙂

thats it till next time got work to do the weekend so when im free will get the head rebuilt and CC the ports

taking the rods and pistons to andrews precision tomorrow for end to end balancing of the rods and weight matching of the pistons
the pistons are marked up at 299,299,300,300 but got them all at 300 on the digi postage scales
then need to decipher the egyptian text on the wiseco instruction sheet lol

off work with me neck again it poped yesterday so today while i was bored i put the new valves in the head and lapped them in
reinstalled all the rockers and liftters and the cam ready to drop on once the pistons get installed

yes im liking it more and more :S just spent 20mins retapping all the holes on the rocker cover what a task

but its almost done just got to fit the new springs on the new plug leads

refitted the balancer chain while i was out there ""pull the pin"" 🙂

pistons and rods got there work done all pistons came in at the same weight with a bit of wrist pin swapping 🙂
3 rods had material removed to make them match the little end weight 🙂

ring gapping ! hate it already
