Apart from finding somewhere in the airflow to put the fan resistors the vans done 🙂
I'll have a new water pump tomorrow so as soon as the tool comes ill do it then it's just cleaning and properly fit the front bumper..

Cheers guys I wish I could afford to get it painted it would finish it off nicely mechanically it's spot on now..
I've got a new water pump I just hope the tool comes tomorrow so I can do it Saturday I've blagged the day off work so I can work on the van lol
I really want to drive it but more work after pvs need to change the driveshafts fit the new fuel pump hopefully I can get a flywheel and clutch without the missus noticing then he it booked into cs for mapping

Did the tool turn up?

No it hasn't yet ive covered my arse though I've booked Friday off work it should of come by then so worse case I'll do it Friday..

Does anyone have any ideas what van cause the eml light to be on but give no faults on opcom? It might be something to do with the temp gauge but I still haven't got to the bottom of it

Can u clear the fault and see if it comes back?

There isn't any faults that's the problem lol

It's not the lamda sensor as there new and the readings are fine apart from being slightly rich from the base map

U prob find if u take your vxr alloys off the fault will prob clear 😉

What I mean when u hit 'clear faults' on opcom does it knock the light off?

Ah that I don't know and I don't have the laptop with me but ill do that Monday and see

Water pump finally came today so I got that done didn't realise how easy it was actually bit fiddly but not difficult I replaced both o rings on the thermostat pipe and put a new thermostat in while I was there..
I wasn't happy with a few little bits so I pulled the charger and inlet manifold off and it's all back together apart from putting coolant in and connecting the 2 pipes to the housing..
I just need to sort out a temporary place for the fan resistors to go until I buy a controller and clean and it's as ready as it's going to be lol

Does anyone know the part number or where I can get a steel alternator pulley? It's not going anywhere while its getting that hot

Have a trip out to torquemotors near carls.

That's miles away If I can get a new alternator with a steel pulley ill do that not really worried about the cost just can't be arsed searching around ive got other things to do lol
