I've ordered a new z22se on £20 plus postage for a 10 year old one or £28 for a new one from vauxhall through my dad no brainer really..
I've spoken to cs told them about the van ecu is wrapped up and ill take it up the post office after dinner should be done by the time it's back apart from the fuel pump ill do that once it's running

6 ltr sump means more oil every 3 months I'd rather 5 ltrs lol

Iv had to go 6litre sump for the turbo. It holds the boost pipe on underneath

It's almost done hopefully be finished for when the ecu is back it's been sent

Apart from the cooler pump all the wiring is all done and tidy, I've got loom tape but ill make sure it runs before wrapping it all up lol.
What does everyone do with the earth that was bolted to the ecu? I was going to extend it and bolt it to the ecu in its new location?

I just ran it off to the earth post by the top of the passenger inner wing.

Bay looks nice now it's all painted up (y)

I might get it tuning first but once it's running I need to take the fuel tank off which I'm not looking forward to lol

Nice one it doesn't look bad considering its just rattle cans from halfords and took about half hour to do 🙂

My mate is selling his volvo t4 I'm so tempted to buy it but as silly as it sounds I can't bare to not have my little Renault and the vans not going anywhere

Well there was no chance in hell I was going to get the charger pulley off with just a pulley remover lol it literally took about 10 tons of pressure to budge it.. looking at the insides of the charger it's had a service before I got it as the coupler is new and the oil is gold plus it has the proper grease on the ends of the shafts.. I've got a new coupler so ill change it anyway and keep one as a spare..

I'm still concerned about drilling a hole in the charge cooler for the 6mm hose it looks to thin for a thread

I doubt there is enough meat in the material for a thread, I'm sure mine was about 2mm and even if it was 3mm that's touch and go for a thread, I'd get it welded on tbh

you could fit a tee in the top pipe its only there to bleed the air from the rad
i drilled mine and tapped it just fine 🙂
