Insignia use a different pcd I think.

I had to download a different driver to get mine to work with windows 7, was a long time ago so have no idea where from sorry

I've tried all sorts of things but once I finally installed the driver it said it wanted it still didn't work :banghead:

you have to disable driver signing and install the driver as administrator or just put xp on a 2nd partition 🙂

I've done the f8 thing on startup but can't remember of the driver installed before or after I did that

On all my systems (xp, Win 7, Win 8 latest one)

Same process..

Install opcom, then go to opcom directory in program files, there will be a folder called drivers to check... You need to go into the device manager and right click the device, update driver and point it to the opcom driver directory and click next etc.

Should install then..

If not... download http://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer_Host_Setup.exe

then install and give me the ID and password.. I can then connect over and set it up for you.

Nice one buddy I'll have to try that in the morning as I'll get moaned at if I go on about it more today lol
Everything's looking good though I might get away with just changing the dash loom after all.. I can't pin point what caused the fuse box to get to hot other than wrong fuses I've just got to make sure my key has a coded chip instead of the other one then I don't see why I can't remove all the 1600 loom :-)

It's because the wheels are 8j there's a van going round with 18s halfords wheels and it doesn't look the same :-)

When u see it do u chuckle to yourself and say ''What a shit box'' They's a chav near me thats got a astra coupe and its a bloody mess and when we pass I shake my head as he's coming towards me lol

Haha yeah definatly it's white standard bumpers with 18s and it's slammed must rub constantly :-)

Opcom is now working thanks to @[deleted] :-) cheers Simon it doesn't come up with any error codes but I'll have a proper play with it tomorrow

Well opcom was working but now my laptop doesn't like the USB port driver so I've given up with that for a minute my next job is to figure out what I need to change to fix the loom. As everything works fine apart from the headlights I'm hoping it's not a lot

looks great, u need to do something with the rear bumper, your wheels look nice in that colour on a red car, iv just painted 2 of mine gunmetal but im not convinced they look right on my silver car

Yeah I do I want an opc one but it's £400 and that's a lot towards a supercharger lol and my future goal is to swap everything onto a restored new as possible mk4 van and after having this I'm not sure if red is the way forward at least not without laquer lol
Yours looks good I like what you done just look out for some bigger gm alloys or something in the future

bigger wheels means bigger tyres, bigger tyres have bigger price tags, i have to look for part worns as it is now. id be remolding them myself if i went any bigger hahaha.

yeh id put 400 towards a charger rather than a bumper.

if i was u i would wet sand the finish out the bumper and paint it to match so its as smooth as it can be. thats only gonna cost 150 tops n will look nice
