As I was looking at these a possible 3rd option not much for the 18inch reps and they do look nice on this members coupe (old member I think)

That would be great mate if that's okay ill sort you out don't worry I'd much rather pay you than the main stealer.
Once I've got opcom I'll make a serious effort on getting the obd socket working properly beforehand which won't happen over night anyway.

I thought they were 19s the genuine ones but possibly 18s they are the ones but I've heard the reps are seriously prone to cracking something to do with how there made hence them being cheaper but ive only ever had 15s or 16s before the van

vauxhall charge £25 for the codes and £27 to code a key to the car. doesn't include cost of new key though. all you need for the codes is proof of ownership (v5) and proof of id when you go in to dealer to order codes. takes 24/48 hours to get the codes.

That's good to know cheers for that :-) the two problems I have is I need to replac the dash loom for sure but I also know there is no chip in my key and the is a key behind the dash which must have the chip in I want to get rid of the other key and ignition and have it as it would of been from factory so the codes are a must I'm not sure if ill need a new key or if I can make one with my key and the chip but either way I need the correct stuff before I mess to avoid any major problems (hopefully)

In the mean Time I've put all 4 vxr wheels back on and hovered it today then went to my nans and took the engine out the megane finally :-)

I got this about 5 years ago for £90 with a snapped cambelt I found this from when i took it apart the first time

I think I have a spare ID40 transponder here. If so then this can get paired up with your ecu so you will not need the key behind the dash.

Opcom is finally here :-) I'm going to install it now hopefully and tomorrow take a look at the obd port.
It all looks in order apart from what I believe is the live which is disconnected.. I'm pretty sure pin 16 is the live so I'll check tomoz and wire it up and hopefully won't blow the ecu up lol

Cool stuff.. I finally received my new bit of kit too today, lets me read the pin codes for immobs and ecus, decode radios, instrument clusters etc etc

There Corsa vxr wheels on that ginge coupe there 18".

Handy tool to have op com well worth the money

but you can buy replicas in the 18" and with the rear wheel having the silver cap i would say there reps

Mental week over :-) van time...
Right the obd port is fully working basically the live was disconnected and I also found a break further up in the live where they've badly joined the wire so that's sorted :-)

Opcom is installed on the laptop easy task BUT lol why the f**k can't I get the interface driver to install I've actually installed it and it still doesn't register and I'm getting to the point installing it in a vice does anyone know what I can do cos I'm crap with software/driver problems
