Well it's got the the coupe rear axle but atm the abs doesn't work I didn't spend loads of money buying it and I like the van so I don't mind spending abit getting it back to good, who ever built it in the first place must if worked at vauxhall or spent a fai bit as absolutely everything is genuine vauxhall apart from the heko wind deflectors

the wheels are bk 999 (vxr replica) with vx center caps the 18"x8 and have 215/35/18 nankangs 🙂

well all the rear beams are the same the disc hubs are a straight swap the problem is the vans come with drums and no abs and to get it working you need the loom that fits the abs the abs unit and the 2 pipes the goto each rear wheel
the van has one pipe to the rear with a ballast valve then out to each wheel thru a tee my mate has a 2.2d van with rear disc hubs fitted but no abs 🙁 its a lot of work (personally i would do it but thats the kind of thing i would do lol)

Sweet they look really good I like them :-) what are Nankang tyres like? I've got altezas and bearing in mind there designed it Australia you can imagine how bad they are in the wet.

I've had a look and I'm pretty sure it's all there there's definatly got the abs unit and two pipes to each back wheel but it was dark so I stopped there. I did notice that the brake pad sensors are disconnected and when I connected them it came up with brake pads on the display but orthough they looked okay they fell to bits when I removed them so that could be partly the prob.
I agree though it should all be there and working but that's kinda why I got the van it's a tidy shell the engine and gearbox have done 70k and it's got the oil feed to the chain so it's a good starting point really and up untill yesterday it drove lovely so I'm not that fussed over time and a few pay days ill get it all nice and working again.

Do you have any engine mods on your coupe? I think these engines sound nice and it's not the common red top stuff that everybody's trying to get :-)

nankangs are great 🙂 @ £55 a corner you can't go wrong found them to be good in both dry and wet conditions i can't say what there like when you drive like a complete hooligan as i never drive my car like that 🙂

if all the parts are there then it may just be a wiring thing 🙂

the only mods i have to the engine are listed in the engine tab on my garage page 🙂

Ill look into to them at that price but ill sort these problems out first :-) but I can't say I drive stupidly fast I got a track car for that :-)

Ill check the abs wiring out it's definatly on the list to be sorted. I've just noticed a z20let one on eBay almost identical to mine lol.
Ill take a look at your garage ill set mine up when I get a chance too.

shocks are fine, many come like that so camber can be adjusted. my Vectra b coil overs had slots in the lower holes on both fk and spax sets.

also got a x20xev powered corsa on throttle bodies but its only 226bhp.

Sweet :-) is that a corsa b? I used to have a 20xe corsa b a few years ago I didn't do much to it it just looked and drove nice. I shouldn't say it on here :-) but I've got a 1600 renault megane which I go on track days in it's around 140bhp but it handles so well I can keep up with turbo golfs etc around any bendy track

The vans back on the road could do with tracking but it's not bad ill get it done in the week now the brake pads on the o/s were in bits when I took them out.. Proper cooked

That's cool it's been in total vauxhall, I like corsa bs alot but I've had 13 Novas not all on the road but I loved every one of them. One day ill get another but I want an original mk2 gsi

Here's a few pics of the van as I got 3 of my wheels back on with new tyres the other one is ready to go back on today at some point.

I always park there so it's in shade as long as possible :-)

Bud dont worry if u can't sort your van out, I'll give your wheels and bumper a good home. I would even consider u seeing them on every other weekend(y)😉:rolleyes:

any plans to colour code rear bumper?
good idea keeping it in the shade to slow down its turn to sucked smarty pink. which my corsa suffers from badly! 🙁

Haha if I ever find a set of good genuine insignia vxr wheels without having to get a morgage out I will practically give you these wheels lol

Yeah I was going to make a new rear bumper out of two standard ones but I know have my heart set on an opc rear bumper as it will match the rest but at £400 without prep and paint i need to do the wiring first really.

The red paint is quite bad when you look up close it's so hard to keep it one colour. I got a quote to wrap it but the red is to different to flame red and will look odd when doors and bonnet are open so it will have to have paint at some point also at least the bonnet wing and doors

I lowered the rear suspension so there was no gap between the wheel and arch and now it rubs a lot on the o/s but it does look better so stiffer shocks are needed as these are crap anyway.

It's back to the old height for now and still rubs... Hmmm maybe the logs I had in there did the shocks in lol

I've just ordered op com too so I will be making a start with wiring issues and I want two working keys with chips so as I have no codes for my ecu does anyone know what Vauxhall with charge for the correct codes?
