sandyc I might have my engine for sale once I get the all clear from the insurance to dispose of my car. Ive done the chain, rings, big ends and a head rebuild. Might not be for a few weeks yet though.

What would you do if you was in my shoes would you get a new head, new engine or scrap the car and get a new 2.2 asta
evocarlos did you actully find out what the problem was ? bent valves? piston rings? cracked head? timing out? for me personally i'd be taking the engine apart to find the problem once it had be identified then work on getting parts to fix it
