Dave_One Any thoughts how I could get around the bracket problem with mine? I so want to do this 🙂. Cheers, Dave
evocarlos just make a plate to go under the brake ballast adjuster then make 2 holes to fit the sender next to it 2inchs apart from each other the beam would just need a peg of some sort to hold the clamp on you could get a 6mm bolt welded on then cut the head off it to give you the peg

Thanks for the heads up 🙂.
evocarlos the wiring is under revision right now so far only 2 wires to the drivers side the rest can be picked up at the passenger well/centre console loom will put pics and more info later
evocarlos ok here is the update pin 1 - Ground (Brown) any Ground point or pin 5 of the headlamp warning ECU pin 2 - Ignition supply (black) hazard switch or bulkhead connector pin 51 pin 3 - Warning lamp (Brown/blue) instrument cluster pin 15 only way is to install a new pin to speedo pin 4 - Tacho signal (Blue/Red) bulkhead connector pin 62 pin 5 - Diagnostic (Brown/White) heated seat plug or bulkhead connector pin 46 pin 6 - Lights on signal (yellow) pin 6 of the headlamp warning ECU pin 7 - Output to motors (Brown/Yellow) bulkhead connector pin 58 pin 8 - N/A pics pin 1** (Brown)** and pin 6** (yellow) headlamp warning ECU** pin 2 ** (black) hazard switch** or pin 2 ** (black) bulkhead connector pin 51** pin 4 (Blue/Red) pin 5** (Brown/White) auto box ecu plug** or pin 5** (Brown/White) bulkhead connector pin 46** pin 7 (Brown/Yellow) bulkhead connector pin 58
Dave_One Now Carl, you're just trying to tempt my into this mod even more, offering it to me on a plate like that, lol. I'm investigating the bracket soon 🙂.
evocarlos my phones on the blink all the pics are cack atm new wires fitted to dash loom plug ready for connection
evocarlos right ive checked and triple checked all the cables only 2 im not sure about is the **(Brown/White) bulkhead connector pin 46 **and the ** (yellow) **headlamp warning ECU the **Brown/White **for a direct link to pin 7 of the ODB port is here but im pritty sure both would work and im still trying to find the info for the wire color of the head light levelling fuse yellow**/White **wire comes from the fuse box think this pin will need testing oh btw wth hell is f2.44 10A
evocarlos right fuse 6 (dipped beam (right),headlight range adjustment) links from the back of the fuse box to the wire arrowd in this pic
evocarlos pin 1 - Ground (Brown) any Ground point of dash loom or pin 5 of the headlamp warning ECU pin 2 - Ignition supply (black) hazard switch or bulkhead connector pin 51 pin 3 - Warning lamp (Brown/blue) instrument cluster pin 15 only way is to install a new pin to speedo **pin 4 - Tacho signal (Blue/Red) **bulkhead connector pin 62 **pin 5 - Diagnostic (Brown/White) heated seat plug or **bulkhead connector pin 33 **pin 6 - Lights on signal (yellow) **pin 7 of the headlamp warning ECU **pin 7 - Output to motors (Brown/Yellow) ****bulkhead connector pin 58 ** pin 8 - N/A **for the system to work the *(Brown/Yellow*) wire must be cut at the rear of the headlight switch dash loom plug after adding pins and wires (Brown/Yellow) wire cut at headlight switch all present and correct 🙂
Dave_One Carl, that looking nice, neat and tidy wiring - me likes 🙂. I haven't got that blue connector in mine, is it something to do with the alarm (of which I also haven't got)? Sorry mate, sooo many q's today :/, lol

Dave_One astra22bertoneauto said: Where is the headlamp warning ecu located please Carl? It's behind the passenger air bag/box, on the dash beam. I asked Carl the very same thing but I don't think mine has it...... HTHs, Dave
evocarlos it is right behind the air bag and i think it may be a right pain to get to you can see it in this pic just popping up at the back of the airbag ok i traced the lights on signal to the bulk head connector not sure what the resault would be using it after the ecu i installed it before the ecu as not to encounter any problems with warnings of lights out heres the inside of the headlight warning ecu in -> thru out bulk head connecter pin 80
Dave_One I needed the headlights on signal for my auto headlight dash indicator. I tried to locate it at the x2 connector but couldn't see either of them, even knowing roughly where to look (pin 78/79 just above the yellow and white pair). I ended up taking it from the headlight switch as I'd run a spare cable over with the dash LED ones. I'm guessing the headlight ECU is what determines whether a light filament fails and reports it on the MID.
