StillOnTheRun44 So had a lazy Sunday today... decided not to be so lazy. Here is what i got up too.. had this idea in my head for a month or so.. was not too sure how it would turn out, but i think it looks okay so far. The hardest part was trying to get into the Clock/information surround thing. anyways questions and comments welcome. hope to have a few more days off to do some other small things that i want to do.. also still researching and saving for that next big project.. i will keep you guys posted! Cheers Jason.
StillOnTheRun44 Hey guys came across alittle random problem today. i have noticed that when i press the button to wind the drivers door up normally when i press it i only have to press it once then it will go up on its own, well today it has stopped doing that, the passenger side still does it but the drivers side does not. if how ever i hold the switch it will wind up and down fine. has anyone had this problem? or know of a way to fix it? i will check the fuses tomorrow before work but any ideas or tips would be great. Cheers Jason.
evocarlos have you disconnected the battery recently ? i know mine stops working on both windows if the battery is removed
StillOnTheRun44 evocarlos said: have you disconnected the battery recently ? i know mine stops working on both windows if the battery is removed Yes i did! is there a way to get it working again?
evocarlos yes get in the car shut the door turn ignition on wind window down all the way and hold the button for 5 seconds when at the bottom then wind all the way up and hold for 5 secs when at the top then the one touch should start to work again 🙂 mine has no door frames so i have to do it to get the windows to close properly
Matt I don't know why they make that a settings, when most people have it so they wind all the way automatically. It should be the other way around IMO.

Amy's Fiat 500 will wind up and down fully with a single touch, but the passenger side if a bit by bit job (safety feature apparently on the passenger side).
StillOnTheRun44 Hey guys! yep all working great now! thanks heaps i was worried i may have burnt out some electronics or something. It is weird that it had to be reset like that though..
Matt I'm sure you'll not be the last person to be caught out by that little trick when you remove the battery 😉
StillOnTheRun44 Had some fun this weekend around the hills in Adelaide, had to test out some new cameras so i thought this would be a good opportunity. Here is a 10min video if anyone is interested. lots of wind noise so turn down your speakers before hand.. its too bad there isnt much of a group here in SA for Astras. but following my brother in his BMW will have to do for now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4vH1008RwI (best in HD)

StillOnTheRun44 Hey guys, just an update. The Astra is still running well although i keep getting an engine warning light saying something about the cat? i have the precat removed and i have tried to cancel the code a few times but it keeps coming back next time i start the car. any one have an idea how to remove it completely? other then that just been doing some aesthetic bits and pieces... many people have been replacing the Holden badges with the Opel "lightning bolt" one, so i have followed the crowd haha, Money is pretty tight so the big engine plan has to wait for awhile longer :poop: so i am looking at getting some nice 17" rims for now; but i am unsure of the offset type etc so any help with that would be great =D Cheers, Jason
Sjdickso As for wheels I would go standard VXL if you can snowflakes / turbo rims or from a newer model don't know how hard it is for you to get them where you are? What code are you getting?
