DIY short shifter
during an earlier convo with @[deleted] i said i would have a look at this as i was removing the center console to change the airbag ecu

here is the bought part thats £25 to make your stock stick longer (metal insert only)
and here is mine removed and taken to bits
the cables in the car
stick cut
drilled
tapped to M6
same for the other half
with a bolt that had the head cut off i made to joint and did a test fit
the plastic base was catching so that got cut out to miss the linkage
lock nuts added to the joint on the stick
all rebuilt new grease and back in the car
reverse is a bit close to the plastic base
all gears are selectable and work on the drive will take it for a spin later and test it out 🙂
