I'll get some proper pics of it tomorrow, but I'm really liking it so far. Much easier to drive than the VXR, and loads comfier

the only thing I would have changed would have been a bigger diesel engine ;)
I would have liked the 2.0 TDI, but for the actual driving I do, the 1.6 is going to be plenty. I did go look twice at a SRI CDTI Astra J, but their 0% deal is a complete con when you look at all the details closely. I'm now over £3k a year better off for getting the Audi

Changed the insurance over from the Astra to the A3. Got £95 rebate on the policy, so the new price is £19.97 a month!

More than double what I was getting in the Astra as well. I was only averaging 26mpg over the last 4 years with a bit of long driving in there.

it will pay for itself if you keep it long enough. iv allways said with these new diesels, if youv got the money to buy them the mpg, road tax and insurance will save loads BUT youv got to be able to get the car in the first place(y)

Well compared to owning the VXR, over 3 years, this car will save me £9K in costs (including the car payments), so it was a total no brainer.

the road tax alone would save me about 280 a year then the fuel would half from around 1300 a year to 650ish

but i cant afford to get the car in the first place:( but makes sence

hows the baby brewing? all good i hope. nice 1

Yes mate, all going good (y). 1 week today until the due date, so we both just hope she's on time, as we don't want to have her much closer to Christmas.

Filled the car with V-Power diesel tonight. £60 to fill it from just over 1/4 tank left (147.9p). Showing 555 miles on the range, after I reset the trip yesterday while seeing what some of the other settings on the information display do.
