hi, ive got a 51 plate vectra 2.2 sri. its running fine when its cold no problems starting when hot or cold but when its warmed up it miss'ss coming out of corners etc. if iam gunning it it can have a flat spot after gear changes and it seems to be heavy on fuel also exhaust is very sooty. ive changed the coil pack fitted a new vauxhall cat and both lamba sensors. throttle body is clean new plugs new egr valve. thinking about changing the coolent temp sensor next. anyone got any ideas? its doing my head in now.

Usually if the CTS goes it struggles to start when hot, but otherwise the fuel consumption and sooty exhaust seem to suggest it's running too rich. It ought to throw the EML up though - but the system isn't foolproof. Fortunately CTSs are fairly cheap as these things go so it's worth trying it.
I assume the obvious thing is OK - the air filter.
