5 grams heavier for the stock sizes ones than OE items...
All located at the combustion chamber side, resulting in an increase of compression ratio
I think that this CP increase is a big part of Vocky's result
Anyway, the 5gr increase (maybe ~7 for the +1mm ones) leads the valvetrain to be now limited at 8000rpm in the stress calculations
EDIT : erm, ~0.2 CR increase
EDIT2 : 0.25 CR increase by side, so 0.5 in total

We have 3 different types of valves for the Ecotec engines. They will work on the 2.0 2.2 and 2.4 Ecotecs.

These valves are 1 piece stainless steel with swirled polished to give you the best flow possible. They are a step higher quality than oem valves which come in the 2.2, 2.0 and 2.4 heads. They also can withstand higher heat as well vs oem valves.
They come 16 to a set 8 intake and 8 exhaust and reuse your oem valve keepers. Price is 200.00 dollars with FREE S&H within the lower 48 states. Most the time we have them in stock so they ship out very quickly. The stock size valves are 100% drop in with no modifications needed to install them.
We can also get you the SAME exact valve listed above in +1mm larger valve head diameter to allow more air to flow in and out of your Ecotec head. To install these valves you will need to have a valve job done on the head and have the machine shop grind your valve seats down apx .040" (1mm) to allow the larger valves to be seated correctly.
Both the stock size and +1mm larger valves are 200.00 us dollars + freight (free S&H with in the lower 48 states but I dont think that would apply to you guys)
Then we have the mother load of all valve kits for the Ecotecs which is from GM Racing.

GM Racing has done it again with these valves in mind. They are designed with high performance and high RPM's in mind. The valves are .5mm oversized to flow more air while not compermising the integrity of the valves or the combustion chambers. Intake Valves are 1 piece stainless steel nitrated while the Exhaust Valves are made of Inconel to withstand high heat and high horsepower.
All valves are single groove design to provide far better high RPM performance and efficiency compared to the 3 groove OEM design. Designed and used by GM Racing these valves are meant to handle the extreme abuse of high powered Ecotecs.
Valve Kit Includes:
8 Stainless Steel Nitrated Intake Valves
8 Inconel Exhaust Valves
32 Single Groove Keepers (2 per valve)
Light machine work will be required due to larger valves.
If you want the best of the best then these are the bad boys to go with. Great for high horsepower, high rpm, high boost applications or n/a engines.
All 3 valve kits will work on your Ecotec application.
