Quick clean and Wheels Refurbed

Well after getting my locking wheel nuts removed after the key snapping i decided to get my wheels freshened up as they had marks round the bolt holes there was other marks on the wheels as well . I got these done a week or so ago but since then we went away the car got slightly dirty while away, i am really happy with the wheels went for a slightly darker silver, which i thinks looks good.

The car was that dirty some one thought it was funny to write wash me in the dirt

Here are the befores.

After 40 mins of pre-rinsing i tackled the car with two bucket method which i had to refill three times due to the dirt. Quick detailer and towel off. A quick coat of #7 glaze and a coat of harleys wax. Car got hoovered and the tyres treated with poorboys tyre treatment. Exhaust cleaned and polished with NXT metal polish.

Here are the afters, nothing special but alot better.

Looking fine there Si. :buffer

What are those Hankook tyres like?

I have just replaced them for the second time Johnny, really good tyres hard wearing not as good as F1's or Avon ZZ3's in the wet by any means but in the dry are great. Not sure how they would perform with a power or your car i know Mark rates them at Courtenays on his sc'd Astra.

looks much better now Si, hope the writing "wash me" hasn't marked the clear coat.

Cheers, i checked a few times and it was just the heart that left a bit of marring, was masked ok by the #7 and wax so should not be a issue with a quick blast with the pc or rotary.

I think he's a spammer, as mags is what Americans call alloy wheels.
