Ordered the bits

Just ordered the bits to hopefully get my Pioneer HU working in the Vectra.

Cost a lot more than the Astra because of the full can-bus system

Should hopefully be here tomorrow, or failing that Monday morning

Where will it sit??? isn`t the Vectra a double din set up, can`t remember what it`s like in my parents car.

You have to buy an single din adapter mate to make it fit

The hardest part was finding what colour the dash is. The above is the closet I can find, which is Charcoal Metallic, but that is listed as 1995-2005, and for 2005 on (which is my car) they list Chrome Metallic

which looks nothing like the same colour as my centre

Did you get the adapter from VX? They sell one to match your dash with a loom as well I believe.

thats alot on wonger on top of the stereo isnt it, so annoying, will look the job tho..

Certainly is mate. I've just had to buy an aerial adapter as well, as the Vectra has a funny power amplified aerial.

That's another £17!

And also........a tip for anyone else fitting this kit. RTFM!

I couldn't get the steerting wheel controls to work. I even went to Halfords to buy a different connector. And then read the instructions. You have to fit the bits together in a specific sequence, otherwise it doesn't work!
