just servicing car and cleaning me pipercross when i noticed what looks like oil coming out of it and forming on the inner wing. any ideas why or whats causing it??? cheers for any help.
The pipercross filter needs oil to work properly. There should be a spray tin which came with the kit (I got one with my induction kit on my old car, and the panel filter for the one I have now). It does leave a film on what ever surface it touches, so nothing to worry about.
To be honest, between the pipercross and the K&N, it's down to personal choice. I've always used Pipercross, and other people will have always used K&N
