Noise on pull-off

Got that problem with mine but it's in bits at mo so while im rebuilding the lump i'm going to put new clutch and slave cylinder in it and hopefully the problem will be no more!!

Does it happen all the time or only after start up? If it does only happen after start up then its the ABS system building up pressure. Well thats what i was told!

Mines does the exact same problem and I've been told by numerous mechanicy-type people that its the thrust bearing... Im just gonna have to bite the bullet one day and get the clutch changed

Add me to the list. I've been getting this noise on my 2001 SRi150 when pulling away in first for the last week. It doesn;t always do it depending on when I release the clutch..

Blimey...a 2.2 thread started by me ... Those were the days LOL
Unfortunately my chain snapped so I never got any further with sorting it.
Thrust bearing just kept coming up tho' so no doubt that may be worth looking in to.
