Nothing to do with the engine but got a dead gearbox cable

My last trackday was an extremly hot day and apparently, despite my extra added gearbox insulation, didn't suffice.

So now have a dead cable... well very hard not totally dead/broken.
Tried many things to sort it but definitely a no go and not serviceable

Could someone try to find me the price of this cable in a UK vauxhall ?

I know they are very expensive here, something around 500€ + vat, so maybe in the UK they may be a better deal for me, especially with your new reduced VAT and the pound being a bit weak these days

Hardening, I am not sure about the english name but something like steam-homo which is an oxydation by inclusion of water vapor at ~600°C

While changing a lot of parts to make my engine ready for the next couple of thousand kilometers, i want to replace the oil pump gears, too. To change the pump itself (integrated in the timing case; don't know if i name the parts correctly) seems not necessary in my eyes. Do you agree with me?

Not necessary, just check the valve relief piston and spring are not blocked in the timing case and move freely

Moved the ECU, ECU loom and power loom and redone the power part of it

Good news : the new gearbox cable finally arrived !
Bad news : the second 4/2/1 manifold does not fit

Guess this weekend should see the car back to life with the previous exhaust
