Mk5 Astra Headlights, poor light

Does anyone else think the Astra Mk5 headlights give off poor light. I was out the other night in my car and I thought my lights were not switched on, the light from them is rubbish. Looking to upgrade them at some point..

Would these help me for now til I upgrade the lights, or can I get better bulbs?

I fitted some uprated Philips ones, and they are a lot better than the OE bulbs Mark.

What like night breakers? Or a different kind of bulb made by philips :razz: . I just want better light, something good :wink:

fit some hids that always helps, u need the H7R bulbs for a replector lamp.

Will be an mot failure to have HIDS fitted as from next year, shame as those would have done.

Those philip ones look good, must be better than night breakers as they cost more. Now next thing is a decent side light bulb (better than the standard ones), what do you reccomend for those? Cheers
