Hello to everyone here,

New to the forum, but have owned 4 Vauxhalls since 1991. Currently driving a 07 plate Vectra Exclusiv 1.8 VVT and am planning on a few mods to improve performance and overall driving. Haven't done any mods since my B reg Nova though.

There's nothing wrong with the one I have TBH. It does what I need it to do and hasn't let me down so far

just teasing as we all love the 2.2's

any Vauxhall or gm car is a great car.

I had the option of a Vectra Elite with the 2.2l lump in it when I purchased my current Vectra. It was overpriced by £3k though and the dealer wouldn't drop the price.

the 2.2's don't tend to hold their price as well as others. you was wise not to get it if they wouldn't drop in price

Annoyingly, they dropped the price to £10499 6 months after I bought mine...

I was going to get a vxr8 last year but the dealer wouldn't drop in price. they had it there for 4 months before I saw it and another 3 at least after.
