Difference between GSI and CDX engines

Hi, I have a 2.2 sri and have been offered a 2.5 V6 for it and I would like to try swap these over. However the engine is from a Vectra CDX and I want to know what needs to be changed in order to get the same as the vectra GSI. I have been told that I could use a GSI chip and 3L intake manifolds. Does anyone know of anything else.

Dont even go there, it is a massive job! Your car is fly by wire and the 2.5 V6 Management is throttle cable. Courtenay converted a 2.6 V6 GSi to a 3.2 V6 GSi and because of the management side of things it was VERY expensive to do.

it can be done mate best thing to do is buy a written off 2.5 car the swap it all over £500 top whack
