drives great although taking it steady in the wet its still quiet lively :D glad I fitted the astra gearbox and not the vectras 4.17!
Probably worth while investing in a copy with what you are doing with your cars now :)

few more photo's of todays work, new radiator and twin 10" kenlowe cooling fans fitted, pre rad fitted and plumbed up with header tank, new ecu fitted.

does need a lot of tidying up still but it all works which is the main thing. need to phone Courtenay sport and see when they can map it to know where I go next with it?

booked in for 27th june for remapping. going to fit standard cams before then as advised by Courtenay sport.
also informed insurance about power increase, £180 more! :(

thanks to Si, aka Powr remap for his efforts to try and sort the fault code p1336 but no luck on the re learn. all other sensors working ok and engine runs fine so going to put up the light for now and let Courtenay sort it at the end of next month.

been reading a bit more about the code and step by step test's and it could also be a soft ware or ecu problem. so will let Courtenay sort it. not like I need the car as I have the van or the other car any way. good to meet you.

well had another day off today so as theres not much to do to the corsa before PVS I went and had some fun,
water pump failure on a 4.5" scale model Burrell traction engine.

high pressure valve (clack valve) stuck shut and bent the con rod for the pump which lead to total seizure and rod failure.
all up and steaming again now. toot toot! :)

hahahahaha some insurance quotes are a joke im sure, i did 1 today for my brother whos 30(only passed 2 years ) had a new beetle 2,0 since passing then wanted a 1.6 proton wira(i dont know why) n they went from 400 fully comp to 650. HOW???? hes basiclly got a golf gti down grading to a s**ttern they want silly money, insurance takes the p**s n you wonder why there so many uninsured drivers on the road(sorry im ranting cos im abit tipsy hahahah)

just fancied a beer wile.i was sanding me wheel n got alittle silly but not overly silly, just a few desperardos verde n amigos n desperardos n carling zests hahaha, i dont drink very often.

few more joibs to do before PVS, show pass and tickets came Tuesday along with a new pedal stepper motor, cam cover seal set, cam sprocket bolts, bumper nuts.
also have breather filter to fit, front spliter to fit, front top grill to fit.
then clean and polish the car.
PVS is ages away right???:confused:
