its the very same corsa yes. and i do use ccuk only getting board over there they still keep on that the z22se engine doesnt fit a corsa!! the guys on here seem more friendly and the site is better to use. update on project, the new LMF cross hatch grill has arived today got to sort a body shop to do bumpers, stienmetz spliter, and irmscher irs boot spoiler hopefull by end of january?

I know what you about ccuk, i'm a very active member on there, but they do like to stick to the same route all the time. I like to see different ideas.

i got my eye on the mrs's bro's corsa which is sat in our woods at the mo with grass growing out the engine bay......
got me holiday to worry about first!

used to love me viper filter, couldnt carry it across to my fto as the piping could swallow a baby.

you running stock management if so how?

yeah using the ecu off the vectra b. all works fine as both cars have canbus just the corsa uses it for more functions than the vectra. wasnt that hard to connect it up just connected like for like. only some relays fron the vectra were earth switched and live switched on the corsa.

ah so a bit more work for a mk 1 then....

can be fitted to the corsa b only it would require alot more to fit the engine and box regaurding the mounts and cable shift for gears, fly by wire throttle pedal, speedo pick up. there is a z22se in a b with a supercharger. the ecu will work fine in a corsa b as the vectras ecu does canbus and none canbus. could always go stand alone ecu on a z22se in older cars.

yeah i used to have megasquirt, wired throttle etc in me astra g on my z20net. i would go down that road again, hopefully the mrs would tolerate it. going aftermarket ecu obviously adss ££££££'s to the price of doing it.
i miss having something to tinker with.

sound deadening arrived, only 80 sqft. job for the weekend. bumpers off ready for paint going in to body shop saturday.

got the bumpers back today, rear one looks so much better in red and colour matched. 🙂
i'll post more photos when ive got the spoilers on.

paint work is top notch, trouble is that the rest of the car isnt that great with it being flame pink!

As matt says a quick DA session will get rid of the oxidation

What is that DA? And where can I get some?
As the old girl could do with some of that treatment, cause the rear quarters dont quite match in with the colour of the bumper.

Mitch, a DA is a type of polishing machine, to get this result i used mutiple types of pads and polishers.
