Broken Cam Chain Guide

i have a vectra c 2.2 elegance (with z22se) i have only owned for about 2 months.
about two weeks ago i started the engine and suddenly heard a constant tapping noise. the next day it got much more worse all of a sudden and the car cut out and wouldn't start. i think it killed the battery.
i got it towed home and took the timing chain and cylinder head off. the black chain guide came out in two pieces but i'm sure there is more of it missing. the pistons look like they have nicked the inlet valves and the inlet valves don't seem to sit in the head flush.

will i need to change inlet valves?
i was gonna change head gasket as well as a new cam chain kit and balance chain kit

cheers Froggy

You need to check your valves a good chance they are bent if they have touched the pistons possibly exhaust valves also
