you going to replace all the bearings while its apart?
i am yes there cheap enuff at £180 for a full set of snr
My mates selling a quaife diff for a M32 if you fancy upgrading while its in bits
depends on the price ? can you find out for me
you should replace them as a matter of course whilst the box is apart, I used Timken in mine which have been fine (y)
thats the plan :) after seeing the outer races of the inner bearings it was then a defo yes there getting done lol
going to go with the SNR the info on the net shows there now used in box's after 2006

the case is now in for cleaning will see what its like in a couple of days :)

diy parts was bin
WP_20141210_20_24_13_Pro.jpg

took the cap off the end off the pullers and clipped the cage on the bearing after a bit of braking it came off
WP_20141210_20_42_21_Pro.jpg

the 2nd one was a right bitch and just broke all the way round had to resort to the grinder
WP_20141210_21_02_12_Pro.jpg

its a thick ass bearing and took some getting thru but when it got close to the end it cracked thru on its own :)
WP_20141210_21_21_48_Pro.jpg

all off with no damage
WP_20141210_21_23_55_Pro.jpg

its not as bad as it looks
the gears will only go on where the needle bearing fits and the selectors go in between the gears :)
circlips to hold each gear on the shaft
the selectors go together easy once you push the balls in to get the ring on
