2.2LS (Z22SE) estate 2001 Y reg - engine died

Hi, I took my Vectra for a camchain change to my local friendly garage. As the owner is a friend he said he's do it over a couple of days at a discounted price.

I got a call after the first evening saying that it was beyond economical repair. Apparently he dropped the sump cover after hearing a knocking on start-up and discovered that the crank was knackered.

Game over.

It's 2.2LS estate with 80 something thousand miles. It's going on ebay but I thought I'd offer it here first. £150 too much?

Thats a shame but its a difficult decition seeing as vectra b's arent worth much.

Might be worth breaking it and selling the parts if you have the time and space to do it dunno..
