spanners
jack and axle stand
wide vice (or a press if you know someone with one)
hammer ether copper or wood -plastic for removing outer ball joint
so jack up the car and place on an Axel stand make sure its safely secured
with the wheel removed the wish bone has three bolts 2 fixing it to the sub-frame and one behind the disc hub holding the ball joint
bolts are
FRONT
REAR
BALLJOINT
once the bolts are removed the ball joint can be released by hitting the wish bone down close to the ball joint with the hammer the rear can then just be pulled out front the sub frame leaving you with this
for removing the bushes i used some very large sockets and an old wheel bearing shell see pics you may need some help to hold the wishbone while the vice is tightened up
for the small bush i found wd40 and cutting the rubber from the outer of the bush the side that its being pushed from helped remove it
Small one
big one
you get the idea any way should look like this when done i also add my GSI air dams at this point to
the new power flex bushes just need greasing up with the pouch included in kit then sliding in to the wishbone then insert the stainless sleeve same for both bush's the it can be put back on the car some grease on the outer sides of the new Bush's help them slide in place there tricky to get back in some light persuasion with a hammer helps just to get the bolt holes lined up
then just put the ball joint back in and tap up in to place so the bolt goes thru the hub and groove in the ball joint make sure all the bolts are tight ...
