BMC CDA filter / DBilas intake ??

i have the bmc cda on my 2.2 vectra b

i love it soooo much lol !

but....

theres no room for a cold air feed, unless you re-route the battery to where the air box was, turn the inlet pipe 180 degrees, then have the bmc cda with a cold air feed going down by the gear box....

needless to say i havnt done that yet as its so much work for near no gain lol !

the idea of enclosed is to force the air through and if no cold air is going through, dont perform as well as it should.

the longer the intake the less the force of the air with all the bends etc..

if theres no air being forced into it the harder the engine will have to work to get air into it due to the sucktion

Junk the air con pipework, pump, fit VX220 belt and move one of the horns, it will go in then to the lower grill.
Alternatively cut a bigger hole in the inner wing and feed the cold air tubing down- May need to cut and rebrace the bracket holding front bumper as well. Can just scrape pvc 4" flexi through.

That's how you do the piping with a BMC CDA Airbox!

The Box is is placed right behind the front bumper!
