Matt What do we need to look for on the back of the HU then to find out if the steering wheel control will work?
Matt if your buyin a HU an want the steering wheels control to work then the unit must have or be "wired remote ready" which means that theres a 3.5m jack on the back. pioneer p5700 and p5900 dont where as all deh and avic's do. if anyone needs a lead that lets them retain steering wheel plus display for vauxhalls then pm me...
Hareng Also needs to be a model less than 12 to 16 months old, before this displays were not supported. Forgot the jargon got it some where on pdf. Dont quote me but only the Sony is different which means should work on Alpine and Kenwood stuff. baldie87 its very hard finding steering wheel controls to work with pionner i would advise you get both leads from the same place rather than diffrent places... just in case
