baldie87 you can do it in the bios but not really recommended as other settings need changing but on my toshiba laptop in the bottom right hand side bar where the clock is. i have a tool that lets me set the processor to... balanced power saver performance
Drakey Ahhhh, Im toshiba too, and Ive seen this function, been running Balanced since I`ve had it, due to being unsure of the benefits of changing it.
baldie87 the faster the processor speed the quicker it can process stuff but uses alot of juice but slower it takes a bit longer but saves power also u can customize it within the options so maybe something to have a look at dunno..
