Just got back from Benny's. Brilliant work, top bloke.
When he got in there, the chain was a little loose but aside from that both had been changed (new jet and all). Whilst it was open I also had the balance chain changed again. End result was a smoother running and engine with a little more go in her. Just goes to prove that the kit helps save the engine but it takes a decent mechanic to do the job right.
The engine was left sitting for a week and got to hear the rattle. (Sounded like a wash-board being scrapped, and a proper diesel).
The noise was the exhaust manifold. lol
