HEX DRIVE = a hole in the end of the inlet cam which is hexagon shaped 🙂

the vectra B needs the Hex drive for the power steering pump and must use Hex cams

ALL other models can use the hex drive cams without ANY issues 😃

I have hex drive cams in my vx220, they weigh a fraction less too :lol:

As for the Hex Drive I know what it is 🙂 the Quad 4 LD9 Engines also have them / need them for the power steering pumps as well. I was just confused on why it would matter if your car never came with one / needed one on why a cam with one would not work on it thats all 🙂

So with that said, who would be interested in Stage 1 Cams? Show of hands please on who would be able to pay for them ASAP to get them shipped out ASAP.

I just wanted to make sure that they would fit my model as the Vec C is renowned for having some differences.

Hi,

I can quote a price on the cams and for shipping everyone would be different since its going to different locations. The cams weigh apx 10-11 lbs so for shipping weight I put 11 lbs.

Most all the time, I ship them via USPS Express they take apx 5-7 business days to get to you.

You can ask vocky about any taxes or fees since he just got the pulley from me and I sent it out via USPS Express mail.

All prices will be in US Dollar since that is all I can take US Dollar... Unless someone wants to give me 1:1 on the Euro then by all mean Euro it shall be :lol:

I'll see what I can come up with. I thnk if we can get 5 people interested I might be able to get some what of a nice price break for you guys.

customs can be the 'luck of the draw' dunno..

I've been lucky for a while nervous.gif

last time was for my 2.4 inlet, customs was £35, inlet cost £150 or $300 with shipping, so total was £185 delivered.

it's usually about 20% of the purchase price, so $200 = £100 = £20

it's still cheaper to buy from the usa and pay the customs than buy in the uk :shock:

I think vocky will be the guy to ask about fitment since I am not 100% sure on exactly the different versions of Ecotecs out there in Europe 🙂

Also just to let you guys know.

I just checked with USPS. 11lbs shippd to the following locations just to get a shipping quote idea.

All shipping price includes actual shipping price off USPS website including Insurance between 400-500 us dollars.

UK - $72.10
France - $72.10
Germany - $72.10

All these rates are USPS Express with a insurance range of 400-500 us dollars.

Hope this gives you guys some ideas.

Now I need to work my magic to see what I can do to save you guys money on these cams. I hope to have an answer by the end of the day (Thursday) that is.

I'd be interested in a G2 Gauge / LC-1 Kit or other wideband kit if we could get some kind of discount on a group buy.

I have seen a balance shaft delete kit that bypassed the balance shafts completely (rather than using neutrals or idlers). If you could find and sell those you would be an extremely popular man!
