are the cams regrinds on an exchange basis? Or are they an outright purchase?

Also what would be the recommended stage cams for the amount of tuning we have? (Usually 2.4 inlet, deristricted airbox/filter, sport cat, sport box) ?

Cams are brand new in box. They use blanks to grind them from. No exchange for anything! You keep your oem cams and you get a new set of cams.

From what I can tell, all the ones I have sold to people in France, UK, Germany and other countries out there they have been the Stage 1 and Stage 2 cams... I have sold 1 set of Turbo Cams but thats about it.

In the states most everyone buys Turbo or Blower cams.

would the stage one and stage two cams be just a straight swap over or would any head work etc be needed? and how do they compare to the piper cams we can get over here i wonder

stage 1 would be similar to dbilas + piper

stage 2 would have less power at low revs <3000 and good gains up to 7500rpm

you would need double valve springs with the stage 2 cams

piper have a 2000-6800 rpm power band, so stage 1 🙂

the stage 2 are 3000 - 7500 rpm power band, but as per all cams with this power band you have too much flow at tickover so will have a lumpy idle and need to rev to pull away, a side effect of more power showo..

As far as I am aware of they better have a HEX Drive since the L61 cars also need a HEX Drive for their power streering pumps.

I have a set of cams here which I need to send out to Germany, maybe I'll open it up and snap some pictures of the HEX Drive and post it up 🙂

so if the cams do have a hex drive on inlet cam does that mean they wont fit an astra dunno..

I would be interested in the cams too. Although not sure what the business regarding the hex drive is?

Probably something completely different on my Vectra-C to the Vectra-B's and Astras, does anyone know the detail?

As for everyone and the Hex Drive questions... I will post pictures of the cams so you guys can be the judge of it. I am not 100% sure what cams your engines have but a lot of people have bought these cams and they are all in Europe so I figure they will work.
