that fitting is for the oil pressure gauge.
you can convert your fuel rail by removing the fpr, take out the small pipe inside the rail and refit the fpr, you will need to blank off the old return pipe which will leave just the input fuel pipe.
I think the fuel pipes are 6mm or 8mm, just use some good quality fuel pipe
