well the fpr mod seems to have proven that the fuel pressure regulator system needs some further investigation notsure.gif
I purchased a spare fuel rail and dismantled it.

my plan is to make a new end for the fuel rail, thus removing the factory fpr, remove the internal fuel return pipe (pictured above) then fit an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to the fuel return pipework (the opposite end to the fpr)
first I will fit a fuel pressure gauge to the reassembled spare fuel rail to test the current fuel pressure.
