2004 Corsa C sri
z22se from vectra B
f23 box from vectra B
only 20k miles on the clock, saved from being scrapped in november 2011. price was a swap for a triumph herald coupe valued at £450. corsa had no engine or gear box no lights and other bits of trim missing or broken. got it on the road in may 2012 took a while finding trim parts cheep in breakers and researching what mounts to use. all parts off the shelf from vauxhall.

thanks, shame theres not enough room for a s/c and a turbo convertion is huge money due to every thing having to be custom made as theres no space at the front or back of the engine. :-(
bigger cams and a few other tweaks should see her around 190bhp though.

I wish I had the funds to do stuff like that I'm fully impressed with your cars there really well built and I'm getting the impression you like fast acceleration more over top speed

under 3k to get the corsa c on the road! I just like cars that are different. the corsa b tops out at over 170mph!

Yeah I agree that's why I want my van to be right I don't think there's to many like mine about I've never seen a 2.2 around it just needs some tlc

This might be a dumb question but is this car the same as a holden Barina in Australia they look the same? Just wondering coz Australia has rebadged allot of there cars (holden vectra) which I hate the fact they have done this.

ashley25 - it would appear so. The early Barina is what we in the UK class as a Corsa C, but the later ones are what we have over here as a Chevrolet Aveo and Chevrolet Matiz

bet that's fast as! I loved my corsa even though it was a 1.7cdti! was it easy to fit the engine?

It will do 70mph 😉
pretty straight forward swap. easier than a Z20LET for an N/A 2.2.
