odds on that the ECU will adjust the throttle input depending on its calibration and the software.
I know we control idle with the ecu -> etb on blue oval cars. Also response is controlled via the software too.
Ever been in a 2000MY M3? there is button on the dash to improve the throttle response, and fcuk me does it (breathe on the pedal and the engine goes WOT lol)
