Thanks for the reply slindborg, I apreciate your honest views, and I've listened carefully, you may be right, but please dont put words into my mouth. I was very carefull and stopped way short of calling anyone names.
I am far from brainwashed by the major tuning names, but carefully decided that as thorney actually race and tune two motorsport competing vx220's, and because they have spent a long time in developing a throttle body conversion along with several other development specific to the z22se, that they just might have a clue what there doing. If anyone is going to know anything about the detailed operation of this engines control system and its quirks, id like to think its them. Common sence says there my best shot with the experiance they have and lets face it, experiance is what it genrally boils down to in all forms of life. Thats why I choose them over say MSD, not becouse MSD is not capable of the same thing, but becouse i'll bet they havnt had the same exposure to this perticular model no matter how generic you might argue engines to be.
