On coming home from my little break in Scotland I find that my daughter and her boyfriend have managed to trash the computer... I've had to reformat and blah,blah... well back on line now!!

Before I went away I was talking about quickshifts....now I would like to get one soon so lets try again for a group buy.... add your name to the list and away we can go....

For 2 buyers Lee has been kind enough to quote £70 inc P+P
For 5 buyers he will do them for £60

To be honest I am hovering over the buy it now at £80 inc P+P as an individual buyer...But as a contributing member of this forum I just thought it would be a nice gesture to offer as a group buy. It kinda brings us together in some little way...whatever that way is!!! Lets face it...if your reading this your motor isn't just for a to b is it...your a bit of a petrol head aren't you!! car.gif

Been using my quickshift for about five weeks now.

Verdict:

Great mod for the money, not too much hassle to fit. It has made the shift a bit stiiffer but I am sure it will ease off as the new bit beds in.

Best of all tho is the change up from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th, it's so quick, get in tune with the car an the shift and it really makes a huge difference especially on a nice open road when you can just floor it from gear to gear.

If you have not yet got one, get one.

I take it you have removed the battery and tray for better access?
Have you extended the punch as in the how to?

Frustrating aint it when this sort of thing happens

Does anyone have any pictures of the installation of the quickshift (or a scan of the instruction sheet). I was just curious how hard the install was. I'm interested in anything to reduce the throw of the gears.

I have decided to change my car...in fact I pick my new one up on Friday..but does anyone know if this quickshift will work with the Saab 93 Aero 6 speed box... with it being a GM box I just wondered !
