As above and as Johnny said megs endurance gel or Chemical guys gel is great.
Me & Matt tried some of his chemical guys gel on my mates type R and it was very good. He also had some great applicators.
I would leave the wheels a good month before you seal them though neil at they really need to go off after the re-furb. Then i would not use wheel cleaner unless you really have too.
As said i norm use a stronger wash solution and wheel brush or at worst some fairy liquid.
