Had a few of them boxes and backing plates pin me head to the floor on axle stands 😃
German 3 rail course spline jobby in , out, in , out pig sick the clutch release bearings kept failing from 2 weeks to 2 months, talk about loud when they go.

When i can be bothered, washing up liquid in boiling water and a big f...k off sponge. Hose the suds off after.

rinse off, wash using megs nxt shampoo (my fave) and single bucket method wiht a real lambswool wash mitt. rinse of throuhgly then dry wiht a megs water magnet, till i get another drying towel. then if needed i will use megs speed detailer. megs glass cleaner and tyres blacked once a month. it gets washed once a week every week and it normally takes me about 1-1.5 hours

Damn lifes too short for all that, i go to jet wash once a week, then every 4th week give it a good goin over by hand and seal it with aqua wax

Vocky as above, I would reccomend a Megs water magnet easy enough to pick up. or if you want somthing to really look after the paint. http://www.seriousperformance.co.uk/Pro ... w_111.html with a bottle of quick detailer jobs a good one.

The reason why i say ditch the leather is beacuse if you have the smallest amount of dirt left in the leather / car body when you press a leather across a pannel to dry it is goes solid. you then force dirt across your pannel leaving a hairline scratch thus when the light hits it gives you a nice swirl / cob webbing marks.
