Details as follows:- REAL STEEL UNIT 9, TOMO INDUSTRIAL ESTATE PACKET BOAT LANE COWLEY UXBRIDGE, MIDDLESEX UB8 2JP PHONE: 01895440505 http://www.realsteel.co.uk If they stock the adaptor (or can get it in at a sensible price) can you grab an extra one for me please? cheers.. OK I have had a look and decided to go with Vocky'ds method as I want to keep the stack oil pressure light. The parts from Pirtek come to £10.00 as I am going to get the adapter drilled and tapped by some guy who is also going to drill and tap a sump plug for me ( oil temp ) is it worth getthing 4 done and I can post them out.
nickb777 mandarinvx said: 8) cheers.. Let me know how to pay you 🙂 Will do  Just ordered 4 sets
nickb777 Bits just arrived I will try to nip down to my friendly engineering works tomorrow, if not I am away for 4 days
nickb777 Well Just started to install one of the vocky adapter plates but what a pain. On the s/c I need to remove the TB to enable me to get a spanner on the nut and I will also have to install the sensor at 90 degrees otherwise it will foul the TB housing. Manderine, Rik do you want yours installed vertical like Vocky or horizontal like myself and Techieboy? I ask because I have to mark where the hole will go?
vocky my latest adaptor is horizontal, but it's mechanical rather than electrical now due to the high pressure the z22se oil pumps work at. Mine hits 125 psi at the rev limiter.
alanoo I finally got mine back to approx 6 bar at WOT/rev limiter 😉 Cut 2 coils from the regulation spring
nickb777 Is it worth fitting a 100psi gauge then, I am using 6800 as a limit but if it is over 100psi I need to get another one (150).Tthe sensor is 10bar so I think that will be OK @145psi

alanoo Yep, 150 psi or 10 bar, below is useless, you'll normally reach the 8.5 bar regulated pressure at around 5000-5500 rpm
nickb777 Trick now is to find an electrical one which works up 10 bar and works with the autogauge sender,
mandarinvx VDO do a 0-10 Bar: http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p6182 ... _info.html And so do Smiths http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p1349 ... _info.html Mocal do a 160psi gauge, but mechanical only
mandarinvx Or if you were feeling (very!) flush, maybe this could be made to work 8) http://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p5727 ... _info.html
