on the z22se you need to fit the oil pressure sender near the oil filter.
on astra, vectra, zafira probably best to fit a 'T' piece to the low oil pressure sender fitting.
on the vx220 I found it easier to fit an extension to the oil cooler pipework
this consisted of a straight connector, a 'male to male' fitting and a couple of gaskets - all sourced from Pirtek for about £9 🙂
all I had to do was drill and tap a hole into the striaght connector for the oil pressure sender 🙂
then a wire needs to be run to the gauge, I removed the speaker behind the passenger seat (rhd) and there is a grommet from the engine bay in the bottom corner, I ran the wire under the black sill cover to the gauge.
I found the +12v and dash light +12v supplies from the stereo loom 🙂
I used the lotus mounting bracket for the gauge
