bobssy DAz wot time u gonna be there til as I dont finish work till 5, so wont be there til about 7ish?
bobssy Right now its daylight I can see more of this loose cable and its connected to a blue one, looks like its been extended and what a crap job done on it the tape dont cover all of the copper.
vocky there should be 8 wires going to the throttle body, it might be the blue wire has broken at some point dunno.. need a better pic if the blue wire is missing from the plug, then it the ecu won't know where the butterfly valve is and will keep changing the revs
bobssy Also noticed tha someone says in marks project it may need to be reprogrammed if the ecu has been changed. Do u know if this has been done mark or if its required?
vocky that wire is needed 🙁 it controls the position of the butterfly, I will have a look and see if I have a spare pin to fit the socket or visit the scrappy and cut off a complete plug the ecu should be ok, climate uses the aircon program 🙂
bobssy Cheers mate. If I were to go to a scrappy I would just cut the wires and then rejoin them or is there a plug or something I can just pull out.
vocky I have no idea, but the pin and hopefully enough wire to join to the cut blue wire is in the post 🙂 once that's fitted we can see where to go next or if it's sorted 🙂
bobssy Cheers mate, going for a diog tomoz as I been told that it could be down to the cam or crankshaft sensors. Does the z22se have a cam sensor?
